With the aim to develop student’s personality through community service, one NSS unit comprising of 100 volunteers is operating in the college. It provides a platform to the students for community work and developing a sense of involvement in the tasks of nation building. A variety of activities are organized every year to channelize the energy and idealism of the younger generation into creative pursuits. Volunteers educate students and society regarding many issues like health, sanitation, palliation etc. Blood Donation Camp and Cleanliness drive across campus are taken out regularly to create awareness towards a clean environment.


1. One day camp was organized on dated 22/4/2022 and during the camp cleanliness drive across the campus was taken out.

2.  “World Cycle Day” was celebrated on dated 3/6/2022 under the programme “Azadi ka Amritmahotsava”.

3. International Yoga Day was celebrated on dated 21/6/2022 in which all the volunteers and many teachers took part.  Different yoga exercises were practiced on this occasion.

4. On dated 22/9/2022 pledge taking ceremony was conducted under an awareness camp on the theme “Parali na Jalao”.

5. Under the joint efforts of NSS and Women cell of the college a Salad Making Competition was organized on dated 24/6/2022 to celebrate “Poshan Maah”.

6. On NSS day two NSS volunteers presented Flax board representing the activities of NSS for the session 2021-22 in  Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra

7. On 26/9/2022 four volunteers participated in Pre- RD selection out of which two volunteers were selected for the further process.

8.  One day camp was organized on dated 14/10/2022 and during the camp 100 volunteers participated in cleanliness drive across the campus under cleanliness campaign 3.0.

9.  A talk was organized by NSS unit in association with Local Police station on dated 19/10/2022 on the theme “Cyber Crime Awarenens”.

10. On the occasion of National Unity Day ie 31/10/2022 a talk was delivered by DR. Dalbir Deshwal on the topic of National Unity & Solidarity and on the life of Sardar Patel.


With a broader aim to work in the spheres of health, safety and cleanliness, NSS unit of D.B.G Govt. College, Panipat is working to imbibe the idea of social welfare in students and instil the motto of “NOT ME BUT YOU” in them in the real sense.


1.  Two one day camp will be organized one at the end of January month and another in the month of February.

2. One seven day camp is scheduled in the month of December from 1/12/2022 to 7/12/2022.

3. A blood donation camp is proposed in college premises with an aim to collect a minimum 100 units of blood in the second week of December.
